Since 1983, Huey’s Athletic Network has cross-trained and rehabilitated elite athletes and entertainers, including: Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Inger Miller, Carl Lewis, Barbra Streisand, Ben Stiller, Paula Abdul, Cybill Shepherd, Sinbad, Mike Power, the UCLA Track and Field Team, and the Chicago White Sox. These stars stayed fit so they were injured less often. But when injured, they never missed a workout. They simply trained in the pool instead.

Instructor Seminars
Lynda Huey will come to your facility to teach your staff how to be top-notch water instructors. Successsful teaching tips will be offered as well as complete deep-water and shallow-water programs.


Pool Design
Owner Lynda Huey has consulted on the design and construction of home exercise and therapy pools as well as hospital and physical therapy pools in Florida, California, Italy, and Australia. Her years of experience help pool owners end up with utilitarian designs specific to their needs. Consulting fees are on an hourly basis, one-hour minimum.

Aquatic Therapy Program and Protocols
Lynda Huey and her staff of licensed physical therapists have trained the staffs of newly-opened aquatic therapy centers all over the country and in Australia and Italy. Learn her treatment protocols and principles of aquatic therapy. Two-day or 3-day seminars available.



Sport-Specific Water Training
Huey has coached and created pool programs for Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Gail Devers, Mike Powell, John Lloyd, Bo Jackson, Florence Griffith Joyner, and Wilt Chamberlain. She continues to work with the UCLA track and field athletes with rehab and prevention-of-injury programs.


Crosstraining & Rehab for Film & Television Projects
Huey coached the children in the underwater stunt in "Prince of Tides," and water trained Cybill Shepherd in preparation for the TV action movie "Stormy Weathers." She water rehabilitated Lisa Marie prior to the filming of "Mars Attack!"; and coached Charlayne Woodard to play Olympic hurdler Gail Devers in the Showtime movie "Run for the Dream." Huey has built a reputation in the sports and entertainment worlds as the person who can provide proper guidance through an injury crisis. Using the track, the pool, and the weight room, she skillfully weaves training programs that will put you on the starting line or in front of the camera feeling ready.
